We present an intriguing combination of works on this program, featuring Schubert’s well-known Unfinished Symphony. Jessica Rivera joins the orchestra for She Was Here, Mead Composer-in-Residence Osvaldo Golijov’s rich orchestration of four Schubert songs. Appalachian Spring is Copland’s quintessential masterpiece, capturing the spirit of American optimism.
