Description

In this retrospective with commercial recordings, we simultaneously take a look at the 2008/09 season. The Chicago Symphony Orchestra’s season-long theme, "Echoes of Nations," celebrated composers who embraced the sounds of their cultures. We start with American composer Ives, continue with Bartók and Dvořák and end with Berlioz.
