There is no doubt about it—the Chicago Symphony Orchestra is “World’s Best. Chicago’s Own.” And now, the world’s best just got better. Starting in September, Riccardo Muti will take up his post as the CSO’s tenth music director and present an incredible array of concerts in his inaugural season.
World-renowned conductor Riccardo Muti was appointed to become the tenth music director of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in May 2008. Maestro Muti begins a five-year contract as music director in September of the 2010/11 season. Read more >
