The Crain-Maling Foundation Chicago Symphony Orchestra Youth Auditions provide young musicians with the opportunity to be evaluated by music professionals, and the chance to perform as a soloist on stage with the CSO.

The auditions provide contact with other student instrumentalists, an opportunity to be evaluated by music professionals, and the chance to perform on stage with the CSO.

In addition, the winner of the competition is featured in a solo performance on Introductions on 98.7 WFMT, a radio program featuring Chicago's finest pre-college classical musicians.

Applications are now being accepted for the 2015 Piano auditions.
