Members of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago—“the training orchestra of the CSO”—invite you to join them for a ‘spooktacular’ hour of Halloween fun at Symphony Center! Hallowed Haunts features some of the eeriest music ever composed. Costumes are encouraged. Recommended for students in Grades 4 and 5.

These concerts focus on the vivid, dazzling and innovative works of French composers ranging from Berlioz, Saint-Saëns, Ibert and Satie. Featured on this program is the winner of the 2014 Crain-Maling Foundation Chicago Symphony Orchestra Youth Auditions, a competition for young soloists ages 14–18. Recommended for students in Grades 4 through 8.
