Your imagination will be inspired by vivid storytelling, music that depicts the characters and action, and props, costumes and images created by Chicago Children’s Theatre. Appropriate for children ages 3 to 5.
Orchestra Explorers® introduces kindergarten through third grade students to the thrilling world of classical music.
Specially designed for children in kindergarten through third grade and students of all ages with special needs, these concerts combine music with a visual element such as dance or mime to serve as an introduction to the music
Youth Concerts are designed for students in grades 4-8, with the intention of developing an increased understanding of and appreciation for symphonic music and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
Students and teachers in ten Chicago Public Schools are served by this multi-year program through concert attendance, classroom music activities and teacher training.
The Docent Program provides free in-school visits by trained volunteers who prepare students for upcoming CSO education concerts.
