Your imagination will be inspired by vivid storytelling, music that depicts the characters and action, and props, costumes and images created by Chicago Children’s Theatre. Appropriate for children ages 3 to 5.
Specially designed for children in kindergarten through third grade and students of all ages with special needs, these concerts combine music with a visual element such as dance or mime to serve as an introduction to the music
Youth Concerts are designed for students in grades 4-8, with the intention of developing an increased understanding of and appreciation for symphonic music and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
Orchestra Explorers® introduces kindergarten through third grade students to the thrilling world of classical music.
Dream Out Loud is an innovative music education advocacy campaign, offering a variety of resources for elementary through high school students and music educators.
Open Rehearsals provide music students in grades 9-12 with access to the musical resources of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
Students and teachers in eight Chicago Public Schools are served by this multi-year program through concert attendance, classroom music activities and teacher training.
The Docent Program provides free in-school visits by trained volunteers who prepare students for upcoming CSO education concerts.
