Since 1997, selected Civic Orchestra musicians have formed chamber ensembles that teach, mentor and perform at Chicago Public Schools, Chicago Park District field houses and other community venues throughout the city. This season, Civic ensembles will collaborate closely with Citizen Musician Fellows to push their creative, professional and artistic boundaries through a series of innovative public performances, educational performances at public schools and participation in the 2015 Chicago Youth in Music Festival.
