Demetrios Troy returns to the CSO where his last credits include Beyond the Score: Beethoven with Simon Callow, Beyond the Score: Schoenberg, Igor Stravinsky’s Soldier’s Tale with John Lithgow and Welcome Yule! His Chicago credits include, The Wheel featuring Joan Allen (Steppenwolf); Blood and Gifts (Timeline Theatre); The Happiest Song Plays Last, A Christmas Carol, The Seagull, The Good Negro and numerous readings, including 2666 (Goodman). Awake and Sing! (Northlight Theatre); Working (Broadway Playhouse); and Julius Caesar, Timon of Athens with Ian McDiarmid, Richard III and Short Shakespeare! Romeo and Juliet, (Chicago Shakespeare Theater). Regional credits include The Boys Next Door (Syracuse Stage); Julius Caesar (Utah Shakespearean Festival); Tartuffe and King Lear (Milwaukee Repertory Theater) and King Lear and The Merry Wives of Windsor (Riverside Theatre). Mr. Troy will be appearing in Henry V this spring at Chicago Shakespeare. He holds a BA from DePaul University/Barat College and an MFA from the University of South Carolina.
